It's the weekend again (and a long one for all you lucky ones back home). Craving for murukku, lemang, rendang and of course the raya food from my neighbour (how "WIEWIE!!" sounds like extremely good food at 9 in the morning on the first day of raya when cikgu the neighbour waits and calls out my name at the pagar with a tray full of goodies). *Stomach plays up a symphony*

Had a late night out yesterday at Jazz Cafe in Camden http://www.meanfiddler.com/displayPage_jazz.asp?PageID=387
Good stuff played by Jazz Jamaica (basically ska ...sort of reggae + jazz). The ambience is nothing compared to Ronnie Scotts but you get a more relaxed environment and let-your-hair-down atmosphere. One drawback was the major lack of cute waiters all dressed in black *bummer*.

Another boring weekend for me... vegetating at home, doing laundry, grocery shopping (grocery = booze), flipping through magazines, wondering why the lily from the bunch doesn't want to bloom, watching the grass grow...well some call it a form of luxury perhaps. Any suggestions for a decent hobby (think fast paced, adrenaline rushing, mentally stimulating) which would keep me interested for more than a week, anyone? I got so bored I drove out far, far away to get my groceries. Driving alone (keyword: fast) and blasting music at an are-you-nuts level makes me feel like a free spirit afterall!

By the way, i got meself a blistex drench lip moisturiser (thanks Ton) and i think it's good! It's lightweight and not sticky however, whether or not it will serve its actually purpose? Will let you know in a week.

I've finally moved to the new apt...i hope I don't have to move again, this is getting so tiring! All's well now... checked the tripped fuse, fixed the hepatitis B tellie, changed a few light bulbs, done lamenting about the lack of a dryer, opened a little bottle of wine (to unwind) and eyeing on the next lil' bottle sitting innocently on the table! One small problem though....the shower doesn't work! Mr Hot and Mrs Cold can't get along with each other. It's an Either Or thing. Either I get hot scalding water Or I get cold freezing water....I'll let them chill out tonight and see if they can sort things out themselves. I am too tired to get it fixed ...*shiver* I don't know when I'll be moving again (fingers crossed, no more please), but here's a few pictures to give you an idea of what it's like here.

Sorry eh, kitchen a bit messy with lots of snacks lying around...

Bedroom tak beralmari, they've only got a miserable hanging rack...now i have to colour code my clothes cos i cannot hide them in the cupboard! kanasai....

Yo gurls,

Reporting my whereabouts in case you gurls think I have kicked the bucket.
I am now back in good old england (it's getting colder so out comes the jumpers) and have miraculously recovered from my bad cough. Is the haze still bad in KL?
I've moved into a place called Bracknell but will be moving out again next Wednesday. Nomadic!Been in boot camp (training camp for some microsoft training) since Sunday evening. Done 2 exams, flunked 1 and I've got 1 more to go on Saturday. Food here is really yummy (ada standard sial) and we get an unlimited supply of fudge, chomps, kit kats, freddos etc.

Classes start ninish and don't end till eight in the evenings! Torturous...thank god the food is good. Overwhelming course material (ini dah terlebih ni....) . This is how much we have to cover for 3 exams in 6 days. Chee sin...

Comfort food for those long hours. Endless supply!

A little bit of motivation on a post it note attached to my spacebar.

And at the end of the day, this is how my trash bin looks like. (that's a LOT of comfort food on a regular day!)

And this is the incubator for nightmares on serial killer neighbours*wie*

Yen's day

Pic 1: See, the restaurant is si beh romantika rite?

Pic2: Girls posing for photo. Ms Evie and 3ni dowan to be in the pic with us.

*these pics were suppose to be in the entry below but somehow I just can't upload these pics in that entry, dunno why. Oh well..............*
Yen's day

Yen wanted to eat spaghetti on her bday so the girls brought her to Vincenzo Ristorante Italiano (si beh romantica place) at Bangsar One

(Description: From the left, then right, then left, then right...you get the picture)

Pic3: M*toot*K*toot* had to block the wind from blowing off my candle - I actually "blew" off the candle when I inhaled! Don't ask me how I did that! So we had to re-light the candle again for the pic. Oh well, another bday wish for me. kekekekeke

Pic4: After the REAL "blow off", I anxiously take the un-eatable items off my ultra delicious looking crepe cake (and it's REALLY delicious) and wanna dig in already. Realising I haven't took a photo of me cutting the cake, I put everything back and posed.

Pic 5: Smile for the camera

Pic 6: Can I eat now?

Too bad we forgot to take pic of the food we ate. This place serves good italian food and the ambience is fantabulous. Thanks girls for the great nite on my bday!

More pics!!
