New plant on the block
Recently Auntie Margo read an article about a farmer who has successfully cross breed apple and plum (name of this plant is call ping guo mei - mei as in suan mei's mei) in Muar!! Yah, imagine growing plum apple, apple plum (whatever) in your garden...cooooooolllllllll....Anyway, we're lucky cos my Aunt from Slim River got this lobang to buy the plant. The fruit this plant bears is as small as a plum, tastes sweet and it's crunchy! I've not eaten the PGM yet but I will take a "full grown" PGM once it ripens. Btw, Auntie Margo already wanna wrap the ONLY PGM on that plant with plastic (like how ppl wrap guava on tree with plastic) to prevent birds from eating it!!!
