I love pleasant surprises, who doesn't?

Such a surprise to see the new pic on the blog (NPOTB?) and even more surprised with the mention of my french porn. It's been so long since I last blogged.

I have moved to Canterbury, Kent (South East of England) and am working on a project for Britain's oldest brewery in a town called Faversham. It's nice working in a brewery cos I have easy access to beer but it's not nice being so far away from London. To make things worse, Faversham is a village overflowed with old biddies.

My new apartment is nice though. My camera is not with me now, hence I will post some piccies once I get it back. Been a busy week for me. Yang Mama is in town with my erjie, Mike korkor and the 3 kids. They're off to Gay Pareeee this week and will be back this Friday; that means more playing host and lousy (and temperamental) tour guide :-)
Oh yeah, an update for those of you who've taken trips on Yang MaMa's all time fav station-wagon aka vegetable-car my mama used, it's now been sold to my cousin for delivery of comic books and magazines at my uncle's shop. How I miss that car and the oil stains! I sometimes want to be a kid again, go for tuition at Encik Yusof's in that car and say that my "mama bu ai wo" whenever she turns up late to pick me up after classes. Oh, the good old times.

I am hardly ever on MSN or Yahoo messenger these days cos I am so busy at work (I am a replacement for a very experienced consultant, so I am struggling big time). But I am still alive!! and missing you gurls :-(

What's happened to everyone? I received Rocco's pics in his Best Dog costume (had a good laugh), m*toot*ki's last blog on halloween and what else? How's nemo? How's queen? How's The Dahan? How's muthuSunny? I feel so isolated lor.

By the way, a friend recommended this website which i really fancy and play all the time now http://www.pandora.com
You key in the type of song that you like and it will compile a song list similar to the song you've selected. So if you feel like Lisa Ono, you can play the similar genre (and get pleasant surprises with the array of songs they've got). Try it and you'll love it. I did :-)

Happy Halloween!!

Au contraire to popular belief, Malaysians have adapted the culture of Halloween from the Westerners, but have created their own celebration ways to glocalise the event to their own suit!

Yep! We do not go out trick-or-treating, nor do we stay at home, wait for the cuties to creep up at your door and give them candies! But we have one thing in common that we all do! Dress up, look pretty (in other words SCARY AND DEADLY) and Partayy~~!!
If beer, alcohol and the goths does not make the wonders? Whatelse?

HOrrific sight! Wanted to grab one of those to be one of my tealight holders, but do not have the heart to deprive the other ppl coming to sit on the table of their favourite Hallow's Eve character!

Poor Ole Jack, got his whole face dug out and left them in holes, so we bought him eyes, ears and fingers to make him whole again.

Looks like we didn't do a very good job, but I'm sure Jack appreciates the effort!
Look on the bright side! He will still look horrific enough for next year's halloween!

The Suicidal Prom Queen Tak-Menjadi with Mardi Gras beads and a splotch of blood trickling down her face (posing memosing with Jack's before make-over) pens off here...

Summons, Cravings & Pretty Mugs.....

Gua kena saman - I was having an interview at a client's site in Kent and i got my first ticket in UK for parking without displaying my coupon. Me being the usual chey mey kui aka blind bat did not find the parking meter, so i thought i could get away with it. Suay suay kena saman pulak. The damage is 30pounds if you pay before 14 days and 60pounds after that. Here's the BIG sticker stuck on my windscreen. They pack the ticket nicely in this plastic envelope so even if it rains you have no excuses, honey....
A little sam toung....somemore UK tak boleh, "Encik boleh tolong ah?" (clue: Saya Anti Rasuah)

Cravings - I had intense cravings for a yummy bowl of laksa. My solution? Wing Yip in Croydon. Can also shop online at wingyip.com but then you dunno if they'll pack your stuff in unsophisticated red + white plastic bags which leak sambal (not nice if it's sent to office derrr)Croydon's about an hour's drive from work, I cabut-ed work after lunch to get the ingredients...how naughty is that compared to ponteng-ing classes for bak ku teh, skipping physics class to polish school trophies for Auntie Letchumy(involuntarily agrees when she does the "girl come" + wave thingy) or skipping bio classes to play fanatic volleyball under the scorching hot sun outside the bio lab? I laugh when i recall images of The Cane Mrs Tee threatened to use on us (lol! at form four!!!) and the megaphone (girls, quiet please..shh shhh...***siren***)After half a day's hard day's work not at work, here's my masterpiece. Thanks to ready made Singapore Laksa sauce by Woh Hup and wuuualllaaa!

Pretty Mug -I bought this pretty gigantic mug from Madame Tussaud's. So pretty uh? Just love it! The visit to Madame's was only so-so though. Highly-not-recommended. And Chamber Live was a bit cheesy, like our standard five haunted house kind if you know what i mean. Confession: i screamed (so unmacho) cos they had ppl dressed in costumes and they scare the shit out of you by appearing anywhere, anytime, anyhow! Not because they are scary..duh...
