It's confirmed, I'll be back in KL next week!
Will call you girls for a dinner (hokkien mee please) or lunch (lat jiu pan mee) *drool*

Joys of getting my air tickets confirmed for my 2 week fly back to work in KLCC. It's been more than a year since I last stepped into office, I bet I'm a stranger to most now. Working in UK is fun, weather is not so warm..people are polite and quite relaxed about work. However, my family and friends are in Malaysia and home is where the heart is.

It's lazy Sunday today, I called home and my mom was really happy to know that I'm interviewing for a job in KL (permanently, finally!). Which means I get to plan my life now and not move according to project plans (like I have for my entire working life). I also managed to get my mom to teach me how to cook 'claypot' chicken rice. Without the claypot of course, and I've substituted it with my microwaveable rice cooker :-P Sedap jugak...pandainyer aku.

And I've also practised cello today. Had a few lessons so far and it is fun! Been about 15 years since I last attended a music lesson. Refreshing change from the computer screens at work. If only I was gifted, I would pursue a career in music (arty farty velly lice). It is quite convenient to learn music in UK as you get to rent instruments. I rented my cello for 19pounds per term and I get to keep it for the entire summer break. It is very good for people like me who get bored easily. At least we get to cuba cuba before deciding to get our own one.

This sexy instrument is a whopping giant and it's heavy mind you. A big thing to kiap in between my legs. Nice.

And played Super Mario. I'm 3 stages away from rescuing Princess Peach (and then i will start playing Super Princess Peach). My next gadget, Nintendo Wii. Must BUY! Then you gurls can come to place and play Wii with Wie.

A bit idle today which led me to thinking some things I will be doing back home. Eating is first on the list (tham jiak). And carrying out a health check. Blood tests scare me. What if the results come back and I'm diagnosed with some monstrous disease. Ah...the facts of life.

7 days to going home (I can see Joel, my fat nephew for the first time) and I am waiting for the day Si Binsen waits for me at KLIA.
