T I K A M

When was the last time you tikam-ed?

I tikam-ed today. The last time I tikam-ed was probably 25 years ago when I was 5, had some extra money from running errands and washing my brother's dirty shoes. Those were the days I was stuck at ahne's grocery shop for a loooooong time.

I went to Sainsbury's today to shop for my grocery (bought lots of water as the company's taking my car back next week because yours truly is an illegal driver now. It's been more than a year since I came here and I have not gotten my british license yet, but there you have it...have to balik-start from L-Lembu driving license, theory and practical tests on the road..bummer)

Sorry I digress. Back to the point. Tikam.

I saw this My Melody tikam machine, wanted the original My Melody. Alas, got these 3 instead :-(

I will keep on trying. Life is like a tikam machine, you never know what you're gonna get...

Nasi hitam

Stuffed calamari, grilled seabass, plenty of seafood in Greece. This one's rice in squid ink.

Lookey Likey - In Greece, most people are good looking (ooh, the men...*drools*). However, I believe they all morph into Mario after 40. Classic example....
-Trip to Greece-

During the Easter bank holidays in April, we went to Greece for a short holiday. Was in Athens and Mykonos Island. The island is beautiful, and we stayed in a B&B called Mamas and Papas (Mama and Papa both still alive, but Christina the daughter-in-law now takes care of the B&B cos they are both old now...papa needs to try starting a fire in Christmas to make it in time for Easter). The people are very friendly and I'd love to go back to the islands again next time.

Here are some pictures we took during the trip
